Wearcadi Village Karen Temple
For the Peace of life / Hnong-loo Sub-district, Sangkhlaburi District, Kanchanaburi Province, Thailand

The Funeral Place and Cremated Ground

It's built and placed at the field back of the temple.
Firewood's still the main fuel to cremate a body.

Teem of the wild mosquitoes.
Muddy and wet in rainy season.
Warm and tired in suny season.
Dirty and frightened.
No electricity and no water supply.

Nothing at the funeral place of Wearcadi Village Karen Temple's convenience.
As Thai Buddhism Custom, before to cremate a body, it's time to preach the people joining a funeral ceremony the Dharma.
No one minds of the Dharma because of the mosquitoes, the mud, the wet, the warm, the weak, non-convenience and etc.

A few buddhist joining a funeral ceremony needs convenience. But it's better, if it's convenient.
Especially to be convenient during listening to the Dharma, it's minded to make better.

The image showing above, there is a concrete-base for place a coffin cremated.
There are the old roofs protecting a concrete-base from the rain and the suny.
There is an old hut for Dharma chanting during to cremate a body.
Nothing's construted to be convenient or just feels impressive.
A Monk chants with the troubled mosquitoes.
People listen to the Dharma with their mindless.

Wearcadi Village Karen Temple and Wearcadi Villagers can construct and manage just the images and the story you see.
They can build and restore as much as they can build and restore. Why? Because of little and limited power.

We always remind "It can be better and the Buddhism has to be onwards walked"
